Give your ramyeon a special twist and experience something new to your tasete. Adding one or two ingredients is definitely a game-changer for your ramyeon. It will make your ramyeon way better than just by boiling it in water. Make most of your dish by adding these easy to find ingredients in your home.
Tomato Ketchup Ramyun
This is far the easiest to add. Just add a tablespoon of tomato ketchup as you cook your ramyeon. It is also a good choice for people who can’t handle the spiciness well. It will make the soup a little sweeter and refreshing.
Note: Use tomato ketchup and not banana ketchup!
Aside from tomato ketchup, you can cook ramyeon with real tomatoes. Its combination is like a match made in heaven! Plus it is also very easy to make. Boil half of tomato with 1/4 onion in the water, and mash it before putting the powder. Once it boils, put the noodles. Add a teaspoon of vinegar and wait until the noodles are fully cooked.
Instead of adding cheese, milk will taste creamier and more delicous. First cook the noodles in water and don’t add the powder yet. Once the noodles are 90% cooked, drain all the water and cook it this time with the milk. Just add as much as soup as you want to. It is very important that you cook the noodle first with water because if you use the milk immediately, it will spill!
Stir-Fried Pork Ramyeon
Just like in the milk ramyeon, cook the noodles first and drain all the water. Then in a pan, fry some pork, and throw in some onions. Once the pork is cooked, add a tablespoon of soy sauce and half of the ramyeon powder. Add the noodles and stir fry it all together. Add a tablespoon of water do the noodles wouldn’t be so dry. You can also add an egg and some green (vegetables) in the middle for a great finishing touch.
If its too hot to eat a ramyeon, why not add some ice cubes and eat it cold! This is a perfect noodle that Koreans love in summer. Cook the noodles first then drain eat. Wash it in cold water and let it cool. Once the noodles are cooled, get a bowl and mix the powder seasoning, 1 1/2 of each of sugar, vinegar, and soy sauce. Mix it well before adding any green vegetables that you have like cabbage or green onions. Now you can add about 200ml of water and drop some ice cubes.
